To configure IIS, you need to perform the following steps:
- Login as an Administrator.
- Press the Windows logo key. The Start screen is displayed.
- Start typing Control Panel. The Search pane and the Apps screen are displayed, as shown in the following figure.
- Click the Control Panel icon on the screen. The Control Panel Window is displayed.
- Select Large icons from the View by drop-down list. The All Control Panel Items window is displayed.
- Click the Programs and Features link. The Programs and Features window is displayed, as shown in the following figure.
- Click the Turn Windows features on or off link in the left pane. The Windows Features window is displayed, as shown in the following figure.
- Ensure that all the check-boxes are selected under the Internet Information Services node.
- Click the OK button. The Windows Features message box is displayed.
- Wait until the changes are applied to the system.
- Click the Close button.
- Close the Programs and Features window.
