How to Login and Create a Bug Report in Bugzilla Effortlessly?

Bugzilla caters the need to track bugs effectively and effortlessly. It can also be used a test management tool and linked with various other test case management tools.

Login

You can login into an existing account or create a new account in Bugzilla. From the main menu, choose New Account or Log in option.
Provide User ID and Password. Click on ‘Log in’ to log into Bugzilla.
You are now logged into Bugzilla.

Bug-Report Creation

Go to the Home page main menu and click on ‘New’ tab.
Enter the details like, Product, Component, Component Description, Version, Severity, Hardware, OS, Summary, Description, and Attachment in the next window. Click Submit.

Note: If you won’t fill the mandatory fields like Summary and Description, you will get the following screen.

Once the Bug is created, you can add additional information like URL, keywords, tags, etc.
You can check the status of the bug and select deadline date. This helps in resolving the bug in a given time frame.
